Housing Projects

There are just over 200 applications for housing in the 4 Llan area on the Housing Register. But where should these homes be built and who should build them?

4 Llan wants to bring the community together to provide affordable, energy-efficient and suitably sized homes that are right for our community – for families and individuals with strong local connections.

Facilitator – Housing and Energy Projects

We are delighted to have been awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, via a Sustainable Steps Wales Egin Grant, to contract a Facilitator.  The main aim is to increase our capacity to develop the organisation and drive our housing and energy projects forward. Eventual outcomes will be an increase in power generated for, with and by local people; and an increase in local affordable and energy efficient housing.

Teresa Walters took up the role in February and works one day each week.  One of her first tasks has been to develop and launch the website.
