Photography Competition
The 4 Llan Community Land Trust is proud to launch the “Naws am Lle – Sense of Place” Photography Competition, inviting local residents and visitors to celebrate the character and beauty of the 4 Llan area through the power of photography.
This competition is open to any amateur photographer of any age with a passion for capturing what makes Llanarth, Llanllwchaearn, Llandysiliogogo, Llangrannog, and surrounding communities so special. Whether it’s a familiar view, a community event, a treasured building, or a unique natural feature, we want to see what gives your corner of the 4 Llan area its “sense of place.”
Each entrant may submit up to 5 photographs – old or new, taken within the 4 Llan area at any time. Submissions should include a short description (under 100 words, in English or Welsh) explaining where the photo was taken and why that place, person, or feature is important for their sense of place.
Photos will be judged by board members of 4 Llan Community Land Trust and guest volunteers. Twelve finalists will be chosen in January 2026. Their work will be on display to the public later that month.
Finalists will receive: A framed A3 print of their photo.
Entries may be featured on the 4 Llan website and social media. Entrants under 25 may provide their age for context, but names will not be published on-line.
The judges’ decision will be final.
Deadline to enter: 8pm, January 12th 2026.
