Where?
4 Llan CLT focuses on the communities of Llanarth, Llanllwchaearn, Llandysiliogogo, Llangrannog and the surrounding areas. The 4 Llan Board is made up of representatives from the four local community councils and other interested individuals.
What?
4 Llan CLT aims to find solutions to some of the area’s economic, social, environmental and cultural challenges. Securing local housing for local people is the main focus. However, as the challenges we face are varied and interconnected we will also be involved with renewable energy, the environment, job creation and the vitality of the Welsh language and culture.
A CLT is a non-profit, community-led organization that owns and manages land and assets for the long-term benefit of a local community, ensuring affordability and community control. Constitutionally, we are organised as a Community Benefit Society, which is a member-led non-profit company in which all members have an equal vote.
Why?
The rural communities in the area are currently facing major changes. 4 Llan intends to create a vehicle that will allow us to identify the challenges together and bring resources to the area to build a positive future.
Who will benefit?
4 Llan hopes that everyone in the area will benefit as we are able to strengthen the economic and social position of the area together.
